Special Projects
Students at Mesa Community College's Network Academy, in collaboration with a local company Data Doctors, supports a web site "Support4Free.com"
that provides free technical information to the general public. Students are given an opportunity to get involved in helping others with their computer problems and in turn gain invaluable
experience in troubleshooting and researching computer issues. See more about this program in our Fall 1999 issue of the Labyrinth-Forum
We have been doing this for a while! See what happened at the Service Learning Dialogue Day way back in February 29, 1996. Or this early web site developed in March 1996 for Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
Also, on September 7, 2001, we held another Service Learning Dialogue Day, In the Service of Students and the Community: The Role of Service Learning in the Classroom.
