An environment to explore the classic mythical story structure and to create your own stories.

The Hero's Journey is a project of the Maricopa Center for Learning & Instruction (MCLI) and the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute.

Please note that this site was an experimental project created in 1998. We never imagined that more than 9000 people would create their own work here. The site shall continue to operate as a free resource, but it does not always work to perfection! We try to patch problems as they occur. Keep this in mind if you plan to use this as a class assignment.
