HIEROGLYPHIC CANYON is rather misnamed, as what you find here are actually petroglpyhs-- images scratched, scraped into the reock surface. Located in the Superstition mountains east of Phoenix, Arizona, this canyon features an area of fantastic petroglpyh images of animals, people, and other abstract symbols.
This one rock face shows, perhaps rather faintly, what looked like to me to be a labyrinth pattern:
