Dr. Harold Modell, Ph.D. is a science educatior whose research is focussed on how students learn and how faculty can facilitate learning science. Dr. Modell has conducted workshops previously for both the Maricopa Community Colleges science faculty and for pre-college teachers in the Phoenix area. He has lead numerous workshops in active learning across the country and is involved in pioneering research on active learning, He is the author of books and articles on active learning, and practices active learning in the classroom.
