FAQ #4: How long is a typical student module in a course?Module length also varies with the specific module. On average, a module consists of a classroom period to create interest, generate curiosity, and engage students in the topic of study, followed by a laboratory period for direct experience, exploration, and/or test predictions and hypotheses. A second class or laboratory period may be needed to have students explain and extend the module activities, perhaps through student team oral reports, posters, or further application.
