Activity Sequence
For each of the webhound lessons we provide a detailed description of how we suggest the materials be presented. Remember that the first two lessons are optional.
We urge you to customize the material to fit your audience and your own delivery style. In each activity description, we include suggestions for what material to present and descriptions of specific steps for demonstrating the procedures. Suggested statements are shown as indented, italic, blue text, such as:
The webhound is clearly the best guide for learning how to search the Internet.
Remember that the webhound was also designed for delivery as a self-paced package. You provide the participants a time frame to work through sections on their own or with a partner and then check for understanding at the end of the time prescribed.
If you do lead the group through entire sections, avoid reading directly from the webhound guide! Adults tend to dislike being read what they can read themselves.
